Accessibility statement

What we target, how we test, and how to report a barrier.

Last updated: 24 May 2026

Our target

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML, with a single H1 per page and no skipped heading levels.
  • Keyboard-navigable journeys, with visible focus rings on every interactive element.
  • Colour contrast that meets WCAG AA on the site's dark background.
  • Descriptive link text and alt text on meaningful images (decorative images are marked as such).
  • No blocked zoom. The site supports pinch and browser zoom on mobile.

How we test

Every release is checked with the axe automated accessibility tool on every route. We also do manual keyboard-only walkthroughs of the home page, plans page, and the contact form before publishing.

Known limitations

We are not aware of any AA failures at the time of writing. If you find one, please tell us. See the next section.

Reporting a barrier
