The short version
This website sets only strictly necessary cookies. It does not set advertising, retargeting, or third-party tracking cookies. There is therefore no cookie banner to dismiss.
What is actually set
- Theme preference: when you change the light/dark theme, we store your choice in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie) so the site remembers it on your next visit.
- Hosting cookies: our host, Vercel, may set short-lived first-party cookies for the platform itself (for example, to identify the edge node serving you for performance reasons). These are strictly necessary for the site to run.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics. It is configured to run without setting cookies and without using cross-site identifiers; it does not build a profile of you across other websites.
We also use PostHog (EU cloud, eu.i.posthog.com) for on-site conversion measurement. It runs in cookieless mode: the per-tab session identifier is held in memory only — nothing is written to cookies or to your browser’s local storage. Your IP address is processed transiently for geolocation and discarded; we do not retain it. Because no terminal-equipment storage is used, no consent banner is required for this tracker under UK GDPR.
No implied consent for non-essential cookies
If at any point we add cookies that are not strictly necessary (for example, marketing cookies), we will ask for your explicit, opt-in consent first via a cookie banner. We will not rely on continued use of the site as consent.
How to clear or block cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may make parts of the site stop working as expected.
