Who we are
The data controller is Infinity Domain Solutions Ltd (trading as IDS), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11322252. Our registered office is 37 Lombard Street, 6th Floor, London, EC3V 9BQ, United Kingdom. You can reach our privacy team at privacy@infinitydomainsolutions.co.uk.
Legal basis
We process personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Depending on the activity, our lawful basis is one of: your consent; the performance of a contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; or our legitimate interest in running the business and responding to enquiries you initiate.
Data we collect
- Enquiry information you submit via the contact form (name, email, company, current site URL, budget, what you need help with, timelines).
- Technical information required to deliver and secure the site, including IP address, user-agent, and the HTTP request itself. We retain server logs for a short period for security and debugging.
- Client records we hold during an active engagement, such as billing details and access credentials needed to manage your website.
How we use data
- To respond to your enquiry and decide whether we are a fit to work together.
- To deliver the plan you have subscribed to and the work it covers.
- To detect and prevent abuse of the website (for example, contact-form spam).
- To meet legal obligations, including accounting and tax record keeping.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with processors who help us run the business:
- Vercel Inc. hosts this website and processes the technical request data needed to serve pages and the contact form.
- Resend delivers transactional email (the contact form sends your enquiry to us via Resend).
- Upstash stores short-lived counters that rate-limit the contact form against abuse.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertising networks. We do not combine your enquiry data with third-party profiles.
International transfers
Some of our processors (for example, Vercel and Resend) are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the UK Addendum to the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or on a UK adequacy decision where one applies.
Retention
We keep enquiry data for up to 18 months and then delete it. Client billing and contract records are kept for 7 years to meet UK accounting requirements. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate personal data.
- Ask us to delete personal data (subject to our legal obligations).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.
- Receive your data in a portable format, where applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@infinitydomainsolutions.co.uk. We aim to respond within one month.
Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, you can complain to the UK’s supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Their helpline is 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
