Own it, or subscribe to it

Own it from day 1, or build it into ownership over time?

Doman Digital and IDS are two trading names of the same company. This page compares them honestly so you pick the one that fits your budget and timeline, not the one that answered first.

Which one is you?

Three questions, one answer

You want to own it now

Budget available today, want something bespoke, want to own the code from day 1: that’s Doman Digital.

You need to move fast on a budget

Need to be live this week, minimal cash upfront, a subscription suits you better than a big invoice: that's IDS's new-build subscription (Category B).

You already have a website

Whoever built it, if you want it hosted, monitored, and kept improving without doing it yourself: that’s an IDS existing-site plan.

Compared honestly

How IDS stacks up against the usual alternatives

IDS vs a website care plan

A typical website care plan is patch-and-backup only: security updates, maybe a monthly check-in, and little else. IDS includes that baseline on every tier, then adds actual monthly work — content changes, analytics, on-page SEO upkeep, and (on Growth and Scale) hours of improvement work every month, with a written report showing what changed and why.

IDS vs pay-monthly website companies

Pay-monthly website companies typically rent you a template site with no ownership path and a multi-year contract you can't easily leave. IDS has no minimum term on any plan, and Growth and Scale clients earn full code ownership over time — or can buy out early at a published rate. You're never locked into a site you can't take with you.

Common questions

Before you choose

Is this page trying to talk me out of a subscription?

No. Doman Digital and IDS are two trading names of the same company, Infinity Domain Solutions Ltd, and we get paid either way. This page exists so you pick the option that actually fits your budget and timeline.

Can I start with Doman Digital and move to an IDS plan later, or the other way round?

Yes. Doman Digital builds hand off to IDS's existing-site plan with no launch fee, since the build is already paid for. If you start on an IDS new-build subscription and later want a full bespoke rebuild, Doman Digital can take that on.

What happens if I cancel an IDS plan?

No minimum term. Cancel any time. Your plan stops renewing and the current month is not refunded. No exit fee. Your domain, accounts, and content stay with you either way.
